Greenwood Park is a modest 5.5-acre park that’s perfect for families to get together. It has two playgrounds for the kids to play on, as well as a large open field for outdoor sports. There are also several benches for the family to sit on and take in the scenery.

The Sutter Buttes are a popular tourist destination near Yuba City, and they are the world’s smallest mountain range. These eroded lava domes formed 1.6 million years ago and are sacred to the Maidu and Wintun indigenous people of the region.
Sutter Buttes is located about a half-hour from Yuba City and is a popular hiking destination. The trails here are incredibly scenic and make for excellent views of the surrounding landscape.
Waterfalls and Natural Wonders
The Sutter Creek Trail winds through beautiful forests and natural wonders, making it a wonderful day trip from Yuba City. You’ll see waterfalls, natural ponds and streams, as well as wildflowers and plants that are native to the area.
You’ll also want to check out the Sutter Creek Nature Center, which has exhibits that teach you about the unique wildlife and ecosystems of the Sacramento Valley. This outdoor adventure is sure to be a memorable one for the whole family!
