The city also happens to be home to the GM Customer Care and Aftersales parts processing center, which will house the aftersales supply chain work for GM’s ACDelco and GM Genuine Parts divisions. The GM branded facility is estimated to be a whopping 1.1 million square feet and will cost about $65 million to construct.

The city has a couple of interesting claims to fame, including the For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum, which is touted as the largest public forestry park in the state. The park is home to more than 300 acres of natural splendor and the surrounding area is a haven for birdwatchers, bikers, and hikers.

The For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum is a 380 acre complex. It includes a bird collection, a DeWaters Education Center, and a Corydon E. Foot Bird Collection. The 380 acres is a gem of Genesee County.
