Located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, the town of Bedford has a lot to offer visitors and residents. With a large selection of restaurants, shops and attractions, visitors are sure to find something to keep them busy in this lively town.

Livingston Park

Located at 200 Bedford Street, the Bedford Science Center is a great way to engage your children in science. The center offers science camps, science exhibitions and a shop. It is open Tuesday – Friday from 10am – 4pm.

The center also has a number of other educational and fun activities for children. For instance, you can visit the SEE science center, a kids science center with interactive exhibits and hands-on activities.

Livingston Park is a great place to spend time with family and friends. It is a safe, clean and well-maintained park. It has a swimming pool, a playground, a soccer field, and a baseball diamond.

The park also has a nice pond and a walking trail. A boardwalk around the pond is a nice touch. In winter, you can enjoy ice skating.

Amoskeag Manufacturing Company

During the nineteenth century, the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company was a major textile manufacturer in the world. It was located in the Hillsborough County of New Hampshire, and had corporate headquarters in Boston, Mass. It was the largest textile company in the United States until World War I, and employed over 17,000 workers. In 1919, the company had annual profits of $8 million.

Amoskeag had a complex of mills that spanned half a mile on the west side of the Merrimack River. The mill complex was built between 1838 and 1915. These mills made cloth, cotton fabrics, and other products.

The Amoskeag Manufacturing Company employed many immigrants. During World War I, it provided federal government with military-related materiel. It also produced cotton fabrics and textile machinery. In 1917, the company had annual profits of $1.3 million.

Mel’s Funway Park

Located at 454 Charles Bancroft Highway, Mel’s Funway Park is a family friendly amusement center. It offers water-based activities like water skiing and tubing, as well as arcade games and go-karts. Its official hours are 9 am to 9 pm.

Aside from the indoor world of fun, the park also offers several other amusements including batting cages, mini golf, a bowling alley and several other attractions that are sure to keep the kids entertained for hours. It is also the perfect location for a corporate event or private party.

The park also boasts the world’s largest lighted chess board. As with most things in life, the park is best visited during the summer months. The park is also home to several major sporting events including the state championship New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball team.

Located in the upscale suburb of Bedford, New Hampshire, the North Garden Chinese Restaurant and Lounge is one of the area’s most popular event venues. It features several flat-screen TVs, a jukebox and a fully stocked 30-foot bar.

The best part is that the restaurant is only a ten minute drive from the center of town. The upscale eatery features a full bar and an impressive wine list. The food is also well-prepared and the service is second to none.

Schools

Located on Interstate-93 and Interstate-495, Bedford, New Hampshire is easy to drive to. It is also close to the White Mountains and the Lakes Region.

There are three public colleges in the area, along with five private colleges. The colleges offer a wide variety of programs. In addition, they provide financial aid to adults and recent graduates. These schools also offer diploma programs for a variety of career fields.

The University of New Hampshire at Manchester is located in Bedford. Other colleges in the area include Saint Anselm College and Southern New Hampshire University. The area is also home to the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy of New Hampshire.

The town also provides a large number of homes for sale. Homes in the area sell for anywhere from 3 to 4 thousand dollars. The real estate market has shown growth over the past few years.
