MAPS Air Museum is an internationally known museum of aviation and serves as a center of aviation history for Northeast Ohio. The museum features exciting educational displays of its collection of acquired artifacts, interactive exhibits and historical archives in its own library.

The Dogwood Shelter is an indoor facility with both air conditioning and heat. Some of the amenities include a nonfunctioning fireplace, full kitchen, outdoor grill on a cement pad with a picnic table, 12 – 8-foot rectangular tables with 72 chairs all on each side of the facility. There are also indoor restrooms. This facility can be reserved for various type events, including but not limited to, celebrations of life, graduation parties, family reunions, baby or bridal showers and birthday parties.

Veterans Park (once called Schneider Community Park) is a large 42-acre park located in Plain Township. The park has many features, including an ADA-accessible playground, reservable shelter, pond, frisbee golf course, splash pad, dog park, sled-riding hill, and more.
