Bent Oak Winery

Located just outside of Austin, Bent Oak Winery is a relatively new addition to the Texas wine industry. The facility was originally a planned retirement space for the Catalano family. However, they decided to take the plunge and open a boutique winery.

While you can’t go wrong with a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot, the Bent Oak Winery also offers Texas Blanc du Bois and Russian River pinot noir labels. This winery is a fun and relaxing stop for the wine connoisseur, and is in a very pleasant commercial park near Anderson Mill Road and FM 620.

The winery’s newest addition is a tasting room, which is also used for special events and private tastings. The Tasting Room boasts high-quality service and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests enjoy a sample of five of the winery’s finer offerings for just $15.

The establishment offers the trifecta of a casual dining experience: dine-in, carryout, and delivery. The chain has 16 locations, and plans to open at least one more in Central Texas by the end of the year.

In addition to its barbecue, the company also serves up breakfast, desserts, and sides. It’s not exactly a swanky restaurant, but it’s got all the right ingredients to make a great meal. Whether you’re in the mood for a family meal or something a little fancier, the staff will do their best to accommodate you.

As the name suggests, the Smokey Mo’s is a Texas-based restaurant chain that was founded in 2000. Although it’s not known for its gourmet fare, it does offer a tasty ribeye and other barbecued meats.
