Ilene Williams Joins Visual Edge IT as VP of Finance Operations
Big moves require strong foundations. That is why we are excited to welcome Ilene Williams to Visual Edge IT as our new Vice President of Finance Operations.
Ilene joins us at a pivotal time as we continue expanding and sharpening our operational edge. Reporting to Monica Vinay, Chief Financial Officer, she will lead the core of our finance organization, including Accounting, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and related functions.
Her mission is clear. Modernize and strengthen our finance operations. Ilene will implement automated, efficient processes that support growth, improve visibility, and ensure tight alignment between costing and revenue. She will work closely with Sales, Procurement, and Service Delivery to streamline and optimize financial operations across the organization.
With more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience, Ilene has served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller in public companies, private equity backed organizations, and high-growth start-ups. She has led complex, multi-entity accounting environments, supported mergers and acquisitions, guided integrations, established internal controls, and implemented ERP and financial systems that drive discipline and transparency.
Ilene is known for pairing deep technical expertise with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style. Her focus on continuous improvement and automation will play a central role as we elevate operational excellence across our finance organization.
She holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She is also bilingual in Spanish.
Outside of work, Ilene enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, their two adult children, Eric Jr. and Vanessa, her daughter-in-law, Ellie, and her two grandchildren, Alexis and Alexander. She values time with family and friends, and her interests include reading, writing, dancing, boating, spa days, and enjoying great dinners out. Born and raised in Southern California, she also brings a unique perspective to finance, with a background in sales that adds depth to her understanding of business operations and revenue dynamics.
